Andrey Molodkin was born in 1966 in Russia and has since lived in Moscow, Paris, and New York. He's one of the more popular contemporary Russian artist whose work can be seen as a critique of the the political and social order, especially when related to the Russian context. In one of his projects, Molodkin took often used words such as "fuck" or "democracy", filled the plastic letters forming the words with oil and blood, and exhibited them at a gallery. He also does multi-media installations and visual art.
