Something of an institution in Dali, this foreign-owned bar has a reputation for attracting a lively crowd. There’s nothing much to the place – it’s small with limited tables – but they play good music, serve cheap drinks, and create a vibrant, friendly atmosphere. But it’s probably best to stay away by day when it’s more of a dark, depressing den of stoners. They also serve some reasonable baguettes. It might be over-hyped, but Bad Monkey is undeniably a fun little bar.
