In the more secluded south-end of Sanlitun sits this quality pub boasting a fine assortment of imported beers. Beer Mania is almost a top-notch venue. It only slightly misses the mark by placing ugly, droning fridges in the otherwise cozy and attractively decorated interior. An outdoor terrace provides an alternative drinking environment. Beer Mania boasts one of the best beer selections you will find in Beijing. There are four beers on tap - Carlsberg (¥40), Stella Artois (¥45), Hoegaarden (¥60) and local Beijing beer (¥30) with Guinness soon to be added. Meanwhile there are over 70 bottled Belgian beers on offer as well as a significant range of German, British, Irish, American, Spanish and Russian brews. Average price is ¥50 for a 500mL bottle. Beer Mania also offers a long list of cocktails (¥40) and a light snack menu including waffles sandwiches and salads (all around ¥25), as well as the possibility to order from the Italian restaurant next door. A must visit for the beer connoisseur.
