Cheese People is a four-piece band from a town called Samara, which is situated on Volga river. Their music can be described as a strong mix of disco, punk, funk and trip-hop - their sound has no analogues on Russian scene, and it strickingly differs from all European bands. Cheese People started their career in 2000 as a instrumental hip-hop-duo of friends Anton and Shipovnik. But then guys decided to add vocals for their tracks and found pretty girl Olga, who can sing like a cat and write silly English lyrics.
