Kunstfabrik (now called Flutgraben) is the last building left standing that used to be part of the Berlin wall. Located between Treptow and Kreuzberg on Spree river it's a beautiful historical monument, which managed to retain a very special atmosphere reminding what it used to be like to live in between. While the surrounding Arena keeps turning itself into a tourist hotspot, Kunstfabrik stands aside and seems to be the last bastion standing amidst all the mess around.

Nowadays Kunstfabrik hosts artist ateliers and work spaces. The organization that runs the building, Flutgraben EV, organizes public events, conferences, art and performance events. Also, such organizations as DMY and raumlabor have their studios / offices there.
