This unpretentious alternative bar and club draws a friendly crowd of eclectic characters and a good mix of foreigners and Chinese. Logo claims to be a live music venue, but most nights you’ll only find DJs here. They deserve credit for playing a wide variety of styles, though, and also for not charging cover. Drinks are reasonable by Shanghai club standards: draught Tiger is ¥30 while mixes are around ¥35. There’s nothing much to the design of Logo – it’s a bit awkward if anything – and there’s no decoration to speak of, but on the bright side the dance floor actually gets used and you can usually find a place to sit. At any rate, the key components of the club are the fun, friendly crowd, laid-back atmosphere and quality music.
