A very interesting exhibition that presents the works of contemporary Russian artists who attempt to represent the transitional period between the 80s and 90s that occurred in Russia. The introduction to the exhibition points out the fact that the transition from industrial to post-industrial society happened in Russia much later than in the west. So the artists are reflecting on this belated transition through commenting on the works of arts that were created in the 60s and 70s in the west, using their direct experience of USSR collapse and transition from communism to capitalism.
