In one of the interviews Roman Mazurenko, who runs the place, said they imagined what Moscow would be like had there been no revolution. So they made up this story of the workers opening their own place in the 20s and then this place having a life of its own, accumulating eclectic artefacts as it went along. <br /> <br /> That said, Strelka Bar has one disadvantage and that is its own perfection. Moscow is not a good place to risk, especially when you run a project like that. So if you expect to see something raw and real, this is not the place. Strelka is a super refined, well-functioning business first and foremost and it's very good at it.
