Novy museumn is a contemproray art museum based on the private collection of Aslan Chehoev.
The collection shows the development of Russian contemporary art starting from the 50s of the XX century till the present day. The soviet period of the collection is represented works of such non-conformist painters as L.Kropivnizky, V. Nemukhin, L. Masterkova, O. Rabin, D. Krasnopevzev, etc. The post-USSR period includes paitings of AES-F, Kulik, A. Osmolovsky, L. Rotar, D. Gutov, A. Belyaev-Gintovt, V. Pushnizky, etc.
The museum also runs temporary exhibitions, lectures and movie screenings.
