A large den-like bar where you can sit and drink at hefty, shabby wooden tables – the way drinking is supposed to be done. The heyday of Poacher’s Inn might have passed but this place can still occasionally pull a crowd. And if it doesn’t manage to do so then it remains an atmospheric place to down a few beers. Tsing Tao is the cheapest offering at ¥10 while cocktails and spirits are quite cheap at ¥25-30. Carlsberg draught is the most appetizing drink on offer. Pop music blares on weekends.
