Sainkho Namtchylak (1957)is an experimental singer born in Tuva, small Russian republic north of Mongolia.
Her impressive body of work (namely she has published more than thirty albums in the last twenty years) draws inspiration from a traditional music and traditional singing techniques from a various ethnic groups throughout central Asia, Siberia, Ukraine, Tatarstan, and Tibet.
Currently lives and works in Vienna.
