This restaurant with the creative name serves delicious Italian cuisine in peaceful environs. Located in the north-east commercial district, it’s probably not worth seeking out especially, but if you’re in the area then it’s a great place to eat. The Italian Restaurant features efficient service from friendly waitresses and reasonably priced meals. Pastas are ¥40-50, while steak dishes are ¥100-130, seafood meals are around ¥90 and poultry-based main courses cost ¥60-80. They also have draught Carlsberg at ¥28 for a pint and cocktails for ¥20-45. Located on the 3rd floor, the view through the wall-length picture windows onto busy Huanshi Dong Lu below provides a nice distraction. A less pleasant distraction is the somewhat abrasive ‘80s rock music that plays a little too loud in the background. Otherwise, the restaurant’s interior is simple but appealing, if a little cramped.
